Wow, you are brave. My parents did this in their house. Taking it down was the easy part. Getting the ceiling to look halfway decent after the fact was more of a fiasco. They finally just hired contractors to smooth it over. Best of luck. :)

Just stumbled across your blog yesterday while looking for a good lightbox set-up.
